Ms. Jackson still managed to score some hits, despite not reaching the dizzy heights of success she had in the first 15 years of her career. The 'Make Me' singer is to mark her only UK television performance of 2009 with the appearance, following the release of her latest compilation The Best.

GaGa will sing new single 'Bad Romance' for the first time ever on UK TV. The track is currently at number eight in the singles chart.

Last weekend's live performances from Mariah Carey and Susan Boyle drew 14.3 million viewers.

GaGa and Jackson's X Factor appearance will air on Sunday, December 6 on ITV1.

The next months and new year will also bring another film starring Janet as she joins Tyler Perry in his sequel, Why Did I Get Married Too, followed by a new album slated to released during the first quarter of 2010.

Janet Jackson releases Press Statement!

Janet Jackson has released a press statement about her current tour, and the reason why a few dates were re-scheduled. A doctor has stated that Janet had suffered from vetigo and dates had to be moved back. But now, Janet has said the following:

“I know you guys have been hearing a lotta, lotta rumors… [that] the tour’s been canceled. None of that’s true. I’m actually rolling into D.C. right now to do my first show coming back. I feel a lot better and I want to thank all of you. I really do appreciate the love and the support. And once again, don’t believe anything that you hear and you read. The tour is still on.”

Pop Megastar Janet Jackson is readying the release of her first fashion range: "Control". The range is lingere at the moment, but Janet is eager to design new ranges at a later date. Read the following report about Janet's exclusive range:

The legendary hip-hop and R&B diva teamed with Bruno Schiavi, the Australian lingerie designer behind Dr. Rey's Shapewear line (named for "Dr. 90210" fixture Dr. Robert Rey), for her debut fashion duet. The 18-piece line is named after the hit single from Jackson's 1986 multiplatinum album "Control," is designed to be comfortable for a range of sizes - 32A to 44G, and is crafted of mostly satin and lace.

Items will be manufactured in China and will be in department stores by late this year or early 2009. Jackson and Schiavi are currently in negotiations with major chains to carry the line; U.S. stores will be revealed in coming months, with releases in Australia, Japan and Europe to follow.

Jackson said the combination of beauty and comfort was the primary driver for the designs, though affordability was also paramount. Price points for the bra and underwear pieces are all under $40.

"I hate when you've had on a bra all day long and you just can't wait to take it off - every woman has experienced that," she said. "A lot of lingerie tends to leave those marks and be uncomfortable. This line is about detail, fit and comfort as well as beauty and making women feel sexy."

Janet's tour selling well!

Janet Jackson's first tour in 7 years is selling fantastically according to the company running the show, LiveNation. In fact, it's such a sell-out that Madonna hasn't even sold as many tickets as Janet. That's great news for Janet, who's last album "Discipline" hasn't sold well at all! Have a read of this....

Madonna's ticket sales may have gotten off to a slow start, but Janet Jackson's are doing fine, claims Live Nation, their concert-tour company.

Jackson is hitting the road to promote her latest CD, "Discipline", which hasn't fared well on the charts since its February release.

But hopes are still high for Jackson's tour at Live Nation, where the chairman left last week after criticism that he was paying stars too much for the return. "She's a tour record-breaker, having grossed more than $100 million in her career".

So why is Jackson apparently selling well while only half of the seats at Madonna's L.A. show have been sold? Her tickets are cheaper than Madonna's, ranging from $46 to $126 at the Izod Center in New Jersey, for example, where Jackson performs Oct. 17. And unlike Madonna, who almost always favors her new material in shows, Jackson is willing to do the fan-favorite hits.

"We're very happy with the ticket sales," said a Live Nation spokesman. "She hasn't complained about us. Thank God."
