Uffie - MCs Can Kiss [Single Cover]

Here's the official single cover for Uffie's single "MCs Can Kiss".

Ke$ha IS #1 !

Newcomer Ke$ha takes her first solo chart single “TiK ToK” to the top of the Billboard Hot 100 (2-1), set to be released on billboard.biz on Thursday, (Dec. 24). She’s the first female vocalist to rise to No. 1 with her debut single since Lady Gaga stormed the list with “Just Dance” in January 2009.

“TiK ToK” is actually the second Hot 100 No. 1 to feature vocals by the 22-year old. She had a non-credited appearance on Flo Rida’s six-week chart-topper “Right Round” earlier this year. “TiK ToK’ is the first release from Ke$ha’s debut set, “Animal,” which hits retail on January 5.

She did it!

Can Ke$ha be the first #1 of the new decade?

Nothing is confirmed as of yet, but it's been reported that Ke$ha's hit song "TiK ToK" could be the next U.S. #1, when the chart is announced tomorrow.

If Ke$ha makes #1 tomorrow in the U.S., she will be the last #1 of the 00's and the first of the new decade! Would be a fab achievement.

Brittany Murphy dies at the age of 32

Just Married and 8 Mile star Brittany Murphy has died at the age of 32 after collapsing at her LA home.

US reports state that the actress died of a cardiac arrest, and coroners say that she appeared to have died of natural causes.

She was taken to hospital after the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to a call at the Hollywood home she shared with her husband, British screenwriter Simon Monjack.

Her publicist has released a statement on behalf of her family.

"The sudden loss of our beloved Brittany is a terrible tragedy. She was our daughter, our wife, our love and a shining star. We ask you to respect our privacy at this time."

I am deeply saddened by the death of Brittany, she was a fantastic actress and singer, and will not be forgotten.

Susan Boyle's 'I Dreamed A Dream' (Columbia Records) dominates the charts holding down the #1 spot on the Billboard 200 for the third consecutive week with 581,966 copies sold. The album has also received RIAA-Triple Platinum Certification for shipping over three million units to retailers nationwide. ‘I Dreamed A Dream’ continues to break records by becoming the biggest selling album released in 2009.

Internationally, Boyle's debut album was #1 again on the charts this week in the UK, Ireland, Canada, Japan, Australia, New Zealand and Switzerland. 'I Dreamed A Dream' has shipped over 7 million copies worldwide and has become the fastest selling global female debut.
'I Dreamed A Dream' made history two weeks ago as the largest-ever debut for a female artist on the Billboard 200 in the Soundscan era, and marked the highest first, second and third-week sales for any album in 2009.

Lily Allen to take career break

Lily Allen has confirmed she'll take "one or two years off from recording and performing music" from March 2010.

It follows rumours of her quitting music to pursue a career in acting.

The singer said she would use the time off to start her own record label, set up a fashion shop with her sister and "spend some time in the home I've built for myself".

Speaking to Radio 1's Sara Cox she said: "My last gig is my Dizzee Rascal concert at the O2 (London) in March. That's the last thing I've got planned.

"I'm just going to concentrate on doing some behind the scenes sort of stuff."

Susan Boyle has topped the US charts, setting a first-week sales record for a female debut album.

Record sales tracker Neilsen SoundScan said I Dreamed A Dream shifted 701,000 copies in the US in its first week.

It is second only to Snoop Dogg's debut Doggystyle, which sold 803,000 in its first week in 1993.

The Britain's Got Talent finalist beat competition from American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert, whose debut charted at number three.

Boyle, 48, also topped the UK chart on Sunday.

Her album became the best-selling debut in UK chart history, selling 410,000 copies in its first week.
