Danity Kane to release new album?

Check out this report which gives details about a new Danity Kane rumour. The group may have officially split up, but it's now been reported that they will re-form and release their third album.

Despite break-up announcement, words have just emerged suggesting Danity Kane will enter recording booth for their next installment. Official website of VISA MYSLASH, a company which reportedly has a sponsorship deal with the popular girl group, posts an info that the group are in studio for a new album tentatively titled "From the Ashes".

P. Diddy previously had released four members of Danity Kane except Dawn Richard from a contract with Bad Boy Records. He made the announcement during "Making the Band 4: The Final Chapter" part 1 on April 16 with only Dawn and Aundrea Fimbres present.

No statement has been made by P. Diddy as well as Danity Kane's camp concerning the new album rumor. However, fans may get a clue whether or not the rumor is true during the "Making the Band 4: The Final Chapter" part 2, which reportedly will be attended by all the band's members including Aubrey O'Day, on April 23.

Chris Brown pleads Not Guilty.

R&B star Chris Brown pleaded not guilty on Monday to charges that he threatened and assaulted his girlfriend, singer Rihanna. Brown arrived 25 minutes late for the 3pm arraignment, amid a flurry of last-minute plea bargain rumours. Rihanna was not present.

After judge Patricia Schnegg read the charges, of assaulting Rihanna "by means of force likely to produce great bodily injury" and of threatening to commit a crime "which would result in death and great bodily injury", the 19-year-old murmured his plea. "Not guilty, your honour," he said. They were the only words Brown spoke in court.

The singer spent less than 15 minutes at the Los Angeles superior court, entering his plea and then departing in a black SUV, escorted by four bodyguards.

The charges stem from an alleged altercation between the couple on the early hours of 8 February. According to a police affidavit, Brown shoved Rihanna's head against the passenger window, punched her in the face, bit her ear and finger and put her into a headlock. "I'm going to kill you," he allegedly told her.

Brown later said that he was "sorry and saddened" about the incident. He faces up to four years in prison if convicted.

Although Brown's attorney did not make a statement to the press, a lawyer for Rihanna spoke to reporters after the hearing. Donald Etra confirmed that Rihanna is in her native Barbados but would testify if subpoenaed. Asked directly if his client thought Brown is guilty, Etra said, "Her position on the case is to leave the matters of guilt or innocence to the judge and or defence counsel".

The two pop stars are thought to have reconciled, although they have not recently been seen together.

Brown will return to court for a status hearing on 29 April.

Pussycat Dolls have revealed that they would love to collaborate with "genius" Adele.

Group member Ashley Roberts admitted that teaming up with the 'Chasing Pavements' singer would be unusual but had the potential to be "pretty cool".

"Adele's my all-time favourite. A lot of people would be like, 'What is going on?' if we worked together but I think the results would be pretty cool," Music-News quotes her as saying.

"She's a genius and I play her album all the time. I just adore her."

Roberts went on to explain why the group had chosen to record their Bollywood-inspired single 'Jai Ho' with A.R. Rahman.

"We loved Slumdog Millionaire and thought it was an amazing opportunity to record the track," she said.

"The film won its Oscars while we were shooting the video which was amazing."

Adele recently revealed that she wrote a song for the Pussycat Dolls.

Madonna denied a child by Malawi courts

Madonna has been denied a child from Malawi courts, after spending over a week trying adopt a second child from Malawi. Read a full report here:

A Malawian court has ruled that US pop star Madonna has failed in her bid to adopt a second child from the country.

"I must decline to grant the application for the adoption of the infant," judge Esmie Chondo said after a closed-door hearing on Friday.
The application has been rejected over residency rules.

Madonna, who flew to Malawi on Sunday, was not in court to hear the ruling over Chifundo James, three. Her lawyer said she would lodge an appeal.

The 50-year-old singer applied to adopt Chifundo James, whose name translates into English as Mercy, on Monday.

Had her application been successful, Chifundo would have been a sister to David, the first child she adopted from the African country, and her biological children Lourdes and Rocco.

The Grammy-winning R&B/pop superstar Kelly Rowland will no longer be recording with Columbia Records as a solo artist, it was officially announced today by the label.

Rowland, a founding member of Destiny's Child, the world's top-selling female group, will continue her relationship with Columbia Records in her ongoing role in the iconic ensemble.

"Because Columbia Records has been my home base as an artist for more than a decade, the decision to move out on my own required a lot of soul-searching," said Kelly Rowland. "As a solo artist, I felt the need to explore new directions, new challenges, and new freedoms outside my comfort zone and my friends and family at Columbia have been incredibly understanding about my evolution. I want to thank everyone at Columbia for the love and support they've shown and I will never forget how many good times we've had over the years."

After almost 2 years of setbacks, Keri Hilson finally released her much delayed debut album "In A Perfect World..." last week in the U.S. The album managed to shift a manageable 93,819 copies and charted at #4 on the Billboard 200. That's pretty respectable from an artist who pushed back their abum countless times. Well done, Keri. The album drops in May in Europe.
