Diddy's protogée Cheri Dennis on his bad boy label is releasing her official second single "Portrait Of Love" and the video premiered today. The track, which features Yung Joc & Gorilla Zoe, is a nice cut of R&B and should do much better than "I Love U" which tanked earlier on in the year. Cheri's album "In And Out Of Love" is currentl available on iTunes but will be released domestically in February '08.

Blast From The Past: Shanice

Shanice is an R&B singer. She has released 5 albums and many singles, including her biggest hit "I Love Your Smile". Released in 1991, the track reached #1 in over 10 countries plus the #2 spot in both the UK and the USA. The "Doo Doo Dooo" part of the song is still very well-known. The video is good too, and that's why I have chosen Shanice as Crazy Cool's Blast From The Past!
Any reviews / news / feelings on Shanice?

German Girl Group Monrose are releasing the third single from their album "Strictly Physical" next month, and the video for it just premiered on a German music channel. The video is really good, but I personally find the song a little boring. Hopefully another top 10 hit in Germany for the girls!

Jackson 5 to reunite in 2008?

Motown Legends the Jackson 5 are rumored to return in 2008, according to Yahoo Music.com. The 5 piece, comprising of superstar Michael Jackson and 4 of his brothers, had a string of hits in the 60's and beyond, before Michael went on to become the best selling singer of all time. The report said the following...
Rumors of a Jackson 5 reunion show for 2008 have been sparked by a concert promoter.

Leonard Rowe promoted Michael Jackson's Off The Wall tour the late '70s/early '80s. He has now met with the Jacksons to discuss the possibility of a reunion tour in 2008.

Rowe told Access Atlanta: "His brothers are ready. Janet is ready. But the motor of that car that makes the car run, isn't just yet."

Rowe added: "In April of this year, I flew out to Las Vegas and met with them all and he told me, 'Let's look at '08.' We wanted to go this year, but [Michael] said it would take a lot of preparation. He didn't say no."

The last Jackson 5 studio album was 1989's 2300 Jackson Street.

The comeback would be great, but are they up to it? I'm sure they aren't as nimble as they used to be! Interesting to see Janet's name mentioned too!

The biggest girl group of all time, the Spice Girls, gave their first performance as a five-piece in other 10 years! They performed their new single "Headlines (Friendship Never Ends)" at Children In Need, a UK event which raises money for unfortunate children. They mimed, but I'm sure they won't be miming when they go on their world tour. They looked amazing though!
