Dannii Minogue is "highly likely" to quit The X Factor at the end of the current series, according to a report in The Mirror today.

Citing a reliable show source, the newspaper claims that Minogue has decided to leave the show in order to move back to Australia and start a family with her boyfriend, rugby player Kris Smith.

I hope it's not true!

Dannii Minogue opens up about X-Factor

Dannii Minogue has revealed that she asked for better treatment for 6th series of X Factor. Read the digitalspy.co.uk report below ~

Dannii Minogue has admitted that she demanded fairer treatment before signing up for The X Factor this year.

The Australian popstar agreed in June to return for the forthcoming sixth series following months of speculation over her future with the programme.

Minogue has now revealed that she considered quitting the ITV1 talent show as she reflected on the events of series five, which saw her reduced to tears live on air following an argument with fellow judge Louis Walsh.

Speaking to The Independent, she explained: "I'm not made of steel. It got heated on and off set, and there's only so many times I can be pushed around.

"It got to the point where I had to defend my character. I'm sure the audience were eating it up, but it's different when you're actually in that seat. It was absolutely horrible. I would never want to go through that again, or see anyone else go through it. But it's what you sign up for."

She added: "This year there's a really good vibe between us. Last year it was clear to everyone that I wasn't having fun, and I made it very clear that if it was going to be anything like that again, then I didn't want to go there."

Minogue's comments come following reports that she is developing a close friendship with Walsh and Cheryl Cole on set this year.

The X Factor returns to ITV1 on August 22.

Kelly Rowland to be new X-Factor judge?

Amid rumours that Dannii Minogue is leaving the X-Factor as a judge, it's been widely reported in the UK papers that Kelly Rowland will replace Dannii for the 6th season of the X-Factor.
Although Lily Allen, Victoria Beckham and Charlotte Church have been names bounced around - it is Kelly Rowland who is hotly tipped to replace the beautiful Dannii!

Blast From The Past: Dannii Minogue

Dannii Minogue is an australian singer/songwriter/actress who is, of course, the sister of Kylie Minogue. Personally, I don't like Kylie Minogue but I've always loved Dannii, espcially her music. The above video is for "All I Wanna Do", Dannii's lead single from her third album "Girl". The song reached #4 in the UK and #1 in the Club Charts. Dannii is the most successful artist on the Club and Dance Charts in the UK, with over 16 #1 Dance Singles. "All I Wanna Do" is Dannii's first dance-inspired song so I thought I would post this one today for our Blast From The Past.

I'm a big fan of Dannii Minogue and I'm so happy seeing her every saturday on the TV t on UK Talent show "The X-Factor". Despite being a judge on the show, she is still continuing with her music career, which has now spanned over 16 years . It is not known as of yet whether Dannii is preparing to release a new album but in the meantime we have a new single from her "Touch Me Like That". The track is a collaboration with successful DJ Jason Nevins and the video for the single can be seen above. The track is a typical Dannii track, and I love it. The single is to be released in December.
