Ciara - New Album Update!

Ciara is prepping the release of her third album "Fantasy Ride" and the new album looks set to be amazing. It looks on the surface that this could be the album which turns Ciara from a Superstar into a true Phenomenon.

R&B singer Ciara has slated her third album, "Fantasy Ride," for a September release via Jive. Rather than one standard CD, the music will be spread across three separately packaged discs, bundled together, each with five to six songs catering to a different theme.

The first disc is called "Groove City" and will contain sensual songs like "Promise," while the second disc is called "Crunktown" and includes tracks akin to Ciara's 2004 introductory single, "Goodies." Finally, the up-tempo "Kingdom of Dance" will showcase Ciara's house-leaning, freestyle-tinged cuts.

Producer Tricky Stewart, who crafted Rihanna's "Umbrella," is co-executive-producing the project along with Ciara. Danja is helming both "Crunktown" and "Kingdom of Dance," while "Groove City" is led by Tricky and Jasper.

An official single will drop in June, according to the label.

LOS ANGELES (AP) - Lindsay Lohan will make a guest appearance on the season finale of ABC's "Ugly Betty."
The 21-year-old actress is set to play an old schoolmate of America Ferrera's character Betty Suarez on the show's May 22 season closer, according to the trade paper Variety.
Both Variety and Usmagazine.com said Lohan began shooting her scenes during the weekend. Lohan also is expected to appear in five episodes of "Ugly Betty" next season

So is Ashlee Simpson pregnant? That's been the word on the street ever since Wednesday, when Ashlee and boyfriend Pete Wentz confirmed their engagement. eFluxMedia reports the following:

A source confirmed to usmagazine.com and OK! magazine's Web site that that the singer, 23, is expecting her first child with fiance Pete Wentz, 28.

Simpson and the Fall Out Boy frontman announced their engagement Wednesday.

But if you ask Wentz, there's nothing to the rumors. "There is a witch hunt for people to be pregnant whenever they get engaged in Hollywood," he wrote in an e-mail to MTV News. "This is all news to me. ... I mean really, this is crazy. ... I mean we're engaged, that's true, and happy about it."

Here's the latest update from Billboard on the U.S. Charts:

Mariah Carey's "Touch My Body" begins a second week at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, fending off the resurgent "Bleeding Love" by Leona Lewis, which jumps 4-2. Madonna's "4 Minutes" holds at No. 3 after selling 217,000 digital downloads.

Lil Wayne's "Lollipop" rises 7-4 and is the fastest growing digital track on the Hot 100. "Lollipop" also zooms 7-1 on Hot Rap Songs, the largest position leap and quickest move to No. 1 on the tally since it moved to an audience-based metric in 1999.

Back on the Hot 100, Usher's "Love in This Club" featuring Young Jeezy slips 2-5, Ray J and Yung Berg's "Sexy Can I" remains No. 6 and Jordin Sparks' "No Air" featuring Chris Brown slides 5-7, despite being the fastest growing track at radio.

Chris Brown's "With You" holds at No. 8, as does Sara Bareilles' "Love Song" at No. 9. Flo Rida's "Low" featuring T-Pain is No. 10 for a second week to round out the top tier.

Foxy Brown to be released from Prison.

Billboard reports the following:

After serving eight months at the Rose M. Singer facility in New York's Rikers Island, Foxy Brown will be released from jail on April 18, according to her manager Chaz Williams.

"She did every single minute of her bid in jail, and she did it under the most severe conditions," Williams tells Billboard.com. "They had her on continuous lockdown just because she is a celebrity. They were trying to break her spirit."

Williams revealed that Brown, born Inga Marchand, is in talks with a couple of television networks for a potential documentary and reality show on her life.

Upon her release, Brown will also prep for the release of her oft-delayed album, "Brooklyn's Don Diva," now due May 13 via Black Rose Entertainment/Black Hand/Koch. "She's going to get on top of her career again. She's ready to hit the ground running and do anything she needs to do to get her career back on point," says Williams.

As previously reported, Brown was sentenced on Sept. 8, 2007, to a year in jail for violating her probation after several arrests, including an altercation with two nail salon employees in August 2004 and assaulting a neighbor with a BlackBerry cell phone.

Kylie Minogue's latest album might have been a success in Australia and in Europe too, but American's obviously weren't feeling K's new set "X". "X" debuted at #139 in the U.S! That's pretty poor for Ms. Minogue who has had success in the US previously and did extensive promo in the U.S. :( Pooor news for Kylie, and although I'm not a fan it is really bad news. Many blame the fact that "X" was released digitally in the U.S. in 2007 so it hindered sales!

- In other news, Leona Lewis is set to debut at #1 in the U.S. with debut album Spirit. The singer has already hit the singles chart with "Bleeding Love" and the HitsDaily reported sales of 200,000+ for "Spirit". Great news for a British singer!

Ashlee Simpson may be a relatively new artist but she is releasing her third album next month and you can see such a big difference between her now and Ashlee back in 2004. She debuted with the single "Pieces Of Me", a massive worldwide smash, and her subsequent albums did brilliant on the charts. Now she is back with the new album and it will interesting to see if Ashlee to see if she can regain that success!! "Pieces Of Me" is a great pop/rock track and really distanced herself as being just "Jessica's sister". Rock on, Ashlee ;)

Here's what you've all been waiting for, Britney Spears' new video for "Break The Ice". The track is the third single from Britney's 5th album "Blackout" and the video for it is in the "anime" style. The animated video was all a Britney creation according to the video's director, and he just followed Britney's idea of what she wanted the video to consist of. According to sources, the video is a continuation of Britney's smash hit "Toxic". I like the video, sure - it could of been better, but at least we got something :P!

I'm Back! Sorry for the lack of posts, I've been in New York so no time for posting I'm afraid! I'm back now, and I bring you "Rock With U", and it's video premiere for supserstar Janet Jackson. It's an amazing video and the dancing is awesome, hopefully a big hit for Janet! In other news, "Feedback" is up to #19 in the U.S and the album "Discipline" debuts @ #1 in the US but only #63 in the UK :'(

Girls Aloud - Can't Speak French [Live @ Ant + Dec]

Girls performed their new single on Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway, a british entertainment show, tonight. They performed "Can't Speak French" the third single from their "Tangled Up" album. As for the performance, I think they pretty much nailed it. Cheryl's vocals were awesome and the choreography and costumes were awesome - just like the video ;)!

Leona Lewis is releasing her new single next month and it's a double A-Side of "Footprints in the Sand" and "Better In Time" from her debut album "Sprit". Here is the video for "Footprints" which also the official single for Sports Relief, a charity in the UK. The video for the song is really sad but on the a better note, Leona is looking great. The "Better In Time" video is still to premiere but as soon as it does, expect to see it on crazycoolmusic first.
- In other news, Leona is to pose naked, but not revealing anything, for charity PETA in their "I'd rather be naked that wear fur" campaign. Good for Leona!
